This trend report targets trends that I think will be popular for teenagers in 2026.

To research for this trend report I spoke with young people ages 16 - 19, interviewing them about their shopping and clothing habits.

I landed on “Y2K Grows Roots” because, while Y2K will persist for a long time to come, we are seeing an uptick in Americana, tactile, and workwear fashion that will seep into the mainstream Y2K trends we are seeing now.
